Perl CGI Scripts - Sybase Server
Error 132 (and missing data) Troubleshooting
Some database records containing images do not display
any text, numeric or image data. Other records containing smaller images
display without difficulty.
Turning on the debug variable within the Perl CGI script shows a Sybase
error message similar to the following:
!! ERROR: 132 'OpenClient message: LAYER = (1) ORIGIN = (4) SEVERITY
= (1) NUMBER = (132)
Message String: ct_fetch(): user api layer: internal common library
error: The bind of result set item 2 resulted in truncation.
Solution: This error message indicates that the image being retrieved
from the database is too large for the current setting of the database
TEXTSIZE parameter. Once this error occurs, no data is retrieved from
the database. The solution is to increase the number entered into the
Max Submit Size field within CGIScripter.
